Childrens Summer Fair

The 3rd Annual Elks 2188Children's Summer Fair will be held on Sunday, July 19th from 1-4 pm to support local needy youth.

 

The lodge has been awarded a $2,000 Beacon Grant which provides for each child to receive a $20 pre-paid gift card from Payless Shoe Source and "sport packs". If you would like to add to the items being distributed, please donate school supplies that the children can fill their sport packs with. Bring donations to Tom at the club office.

 

A picnic-style lunch will be provided for everyone at 1 p.m. with the fun and games following. Feel free to bring a side dish for all to enjoy. The Auxiliary will be providing a Sundae bar complete with fun toppings! YUM

 

Please note that children and grandchildren of lodge members are welcome to attend and enjoy the activities but they will not be receiving the shoes or lunchboxes. 

 

What do we need from you? 

We are looking to both entertain and educate and are seeking volunteers with a talent:  Do you know how to face paint? Make balloon animals? Juggle? Something else which may interest the children (or their parents, while the children play)? We need you!!

We will also need volunteers to keep the event flowing smoothly so the children get from room to room to take advantage of all the event will offer.
